School Uniform

What a child wears to school reflects his/her attitudes to learning. It portrays the school ethos and shared positive values. At St Joseph's we take pride in our school uniform.

Foundation Stage

Yellow Polo Shirts
Green sweatshirt or cardigan
Pull up grey skirt or trousers
Black shoes
Black/navy jogging bottoms/shorts, black/navy jumper/tracksuit top and trainers (FS2 only)
KS1 and KS2

Boys

Grey trousers (grey shorts in the Summer Term)
White shirt (not polo)
School tie
V necked school embroidered sweatshirt
Black/brown shoes (no trainers)

Girls

Grey pinafore/skirt/trousers (green dresses in the Summer Term)
White shirt (not polo)
School tie
V necked school embroidered sweatshirt
Black/brown flat heeled shoes (no trainers)
White socks or black/grey/bottle green tights

PE

Black shorts
Gold T-shirt
In Winter, a black or navy tracksuit should be worn for outdoor sessions. Gold T-shirts should also be worn.

Hairstyles

Extreme hairstyles are not acceptable eg. Tramlines, shaven heads.
Long hair should be fastened back.

Jewellery

At St Joseph's we have a no jewellery policy. Children are not allowed to wear earrings at any time so please do not get them pierced in term time. Children may wear a wristwatch if they would like to.
